Tim’s parents moved to Greenville, South Carolina while he was attending East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. He fell in love with this great town because of the home town atmosphere, proximity to the beaches, mountains and lakes and decided to move here after college when he married his wife, Della. That was over 30 years ago and today he has grown to love it even more.

Tim and Della have raised their two boys, Christopher and Patrick, in Greenville and have loved every minute of watching their boys grow and participate in all of the local sports the schools and the county leagues have to offer. Tim has coached the boys in several sports like basketball, baseball and golf and Della loves hosting the team parties. Tim has even led them to win several championships through the years. Tim’s favorite sport is golf & he also loves to take the family boating on the beautiful lakes the area has to offer and going sightseeing on day trips in the mountains. The coaching and cheering continues as Tim and Della take joy in driving to Clemson University, where they have watched Christopher (who has now graduated) and Patrick play intramural sports. Tailgating at the Clemson Football games is also a big deal for the family and all of their friends.

During Tim’s 18 plus years in real estate, he quickly achieved membership in the
Top Producer Club of the Greater Greenville Association of Realtors
and for the past 4 years has lead The Toates Team to the prestigious
Prudential’s Chairman Circle.
In 2006, The Toates Team reached the Platinum Chairman Circle level which is held by less than 2% of agents nationwide.
Tim has also lead his team to receive the recognition for
The #1 Sales and Listing Team for Prudential’s Pelham Rd. Office
for 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008.
Tim is a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) which is held by less than 4% of Realtors nationwide,
an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) and a Broker Associate.

But more importantly than his real estate achievements, he counts his highest achievement his family and his friends.
